The countdown continues towards the historical first Super Rugby game in Apia between the Blues and the Reds next Friday.

As part of the excitement, the winners of Samoa Observer’s Clash of Colours Competition have chosen the players they will meet and dine with next week.

Taupau Emanuele Taupau from Lalovaea and Anoanoai Fa’afetai Tinei from Elise Fou were drawn as the winners last week.

They both win the chance to meet and dine with their favourite players from a team of their choosing.

Anoanoai works at N.P.F. He chose Quade Cooper and Alex Mafi.

“I love how they play on the field,” he said. “They are the best players in their team.”

As for Taupau, who works for J.I.C.A, she chose Jerome Kaino and Stephen Luatua of the Auckland Blues.
