Seeking non-abusive answers

Dear Editor

Re: Woman lifter beaten by transgender speaks up

Are you able to articulate exactly what is “transphobic” about what was said?

Are you able to articulate why women should make space for someone who decided that the feelings of unease in their minds about their bodies meant that they were the wrong sex?

Are you able to articulate how anyone can “know” they are the wrong sex when they have no way of knowing what it is to be the other sex?

Are you able to articulate how it can be that there is a female “brain” and a male “brain”?

Are you able to articulate whether or not you think lesbians have a right to reject sex with transgender women who still have intact male bodies?

Are you able to articulate how women are causing the deaths of transgender people at the hands of men?

Are you able to articulate why women are being abused in person and online if they try to defend their rights to gather, to shelter, to compete with other women?

A non-abusive reply to any or all of those questions would be great.
