Take it to Court

Re: The issue of customary lands in Samoa

If you are so confident about legal arguments, take the matter to the Supreme Court at Mulinu’u. Not a single case of customary land theft has come before the courts since the 2008 Land Titles Registration Act was passed.

It is now the year 2018 - a full decade since the law was passed.

For all of those 10 years, you and your noisy bush lawyer and legal academic activists have talked plenty of talk online and in public about how the land will be stolen but not a single one of you have taken the matter to Court to test out your legal theories.

If you don’t know where the courthouse is, ask for directions from the taxi drivers. They can drop you off there.
