Australia Day swim in beautiful Samoa
It was the son of an Australian, Sitivi So’oa’emalelagi of Tanifa o le Vai who won the Aussie Swim yesterday.
The swim was attended by 30 swimmers to celebrate Australia Day at Taumeasina Island Resort.
Team Tanifa o le Vai also won the Relay.
Not to be outdone Team U.S.A. was a close second. Australia was third and team Samoa finished fourth.
Australian High Commissioner, Sue Langford was on hand to celebrate with the swimmers. It was another successful event by Samoa Events.
The next Swim is the Kiwi Swim next Saturday the February to celebrate Waitangi Day.
Australia Day was officially celebrated at Tiapapata last night.
