On the theme of ‘Tourism for All, Promoting Universal Accessibility’, students and supporters of the Martin Hautus Institute of Learning Samoa (M.H.I.L.S.) will be celebrating World Tourism Day tomorrow at the Malololelei Campus.

The celebration will include a message from the U.N.W.T.O. Secretary-General Taleb Rifai, an address from local tourism industry stakeholders, entertainment from the Martin Hautus tourism students, followed by an informal get together for invitees.

Martin Hautus Institute of Learning Samoa exists to empower the people of Samoa through providing quality education and training. This will enable participants to pathway into employment or higher education. M.H.I.L.S. is currently delivering courses in Tourism and scheduled to deliver hospitality courses in the near future.

Realising the importance of the tourism in Samoa, it was the first course offered when M.H.I.L.S. opened for enrolments in 2014.

Pulotu Arthur and Maretta Tuasivi Solomon are looking forward to holding the celebration on World Tourism Day and to have students rubbing shoulders with key tourism industry stakeholders and supporters of the Institute. At this time we are also thankful to Tanoa Tusitala for sponsoring this auspicious event at M.H.I.L.S.
