Man pours hot water on elderly man

A 29-year-old male who poured hot water on 58-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder.
This was confirmed by Acting Assistant Police Commissioner Sala’a Moananu Sala’a.
“The incident occurred at one of the villages in the Faleata District,” said Sala’a.
“The accused splashed hot water on the victim and we don’t know for what reason.
“Police are still investigating the matter and the victim is lucky to be alive.”
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Supreme Court today.
