Quality is supreme when it comes to the products carried by the Samoa Stationery and Books (S.S.A.B.).

They have brought in Designation Service Manager for Kyocera in New Zealand, Keith Gulliver to conduct training with S.S.A.B. employees.

Mr. Gulliver, during an interview, noted the importance of purchasing from authorised dealers such as S.S.A.B. who carries top quality printing equipment by Kyocera.

Kyocera N.Z. has been in partnership with S.S.A.B. for the past seven years.

Mr. Gulliver is in Samoa conducting a three-day intense training course for S.S.A.B. employees on Kyocera products.

“Acquiring printing skills is an art most especially when working with top quality high-tech equipment, one must be a professional,” said Mr. Gulliver.

“But it all comes down to professionalism and getting to segregate their tasks from what their customers should be doing.”

“For instance, there are small tasks for printing that their clients are supposed to do but they get to do this out of their kind hearts.”

“So, they need to lessen this down and make efficient use of their printing skills.”

“Apart from that, I know that they are all very good at knowing the servicing concepts.”

“And finer details when elaborating to their customers what needs to be done especially with the basic things like scanning to folder and scanning to email.”

Mr. Gulliver pointed out that part of his duties in Samoa is implementing and making trainings a complete package, in the end not only S.S.A.B. technicians benefit, but Samoan people.

“So they have the ability to install printers without mistakes and that they have the finer details on what needs to be done without consulting anyone,” said Mr. Gulliver.

He also noted that S.S.A.B. is Kyocera’s authorised dealer in the Pacific and is the top seller of the brand.

S.S.A.B. Chief Executive Officer Tofilau Fiti Leung Wai pointed out the importance of investing in conducting trainings for the company’s technicians.

“I always believe that if my technicians are updated with trainings from Kyocera N.Z, they will have the ability to take good care of our products and of course better serve our people.”

“And like any business, we value the investment that our client’s purchase the high-tech equipment we offer hence ensuring the after sales support is strong and stable.”

“I am grateful for Kyocera N.Z.’s support towards the Samoan market. Kyocera is the dominant player in the market in terms of photocopier machines, therefore S.S.A.B. technicians in Upolu and Savaii must be upskilled to ensure they are always confident to look after these machines all the time,” said Tofilau.
