Malo Ili Setefano Ta’ateo. All initiatives stated in the story are great but there is one more thing that you need to do.
I have been living in my village far away from the main area and the issue of shortage of water has been a problem ever since I was born.
We had to carry water from the village taps to our home everyday and had to travel a distance of about 1 mile or more without transport.
Coming back to Samoa three years ago, I experienced the same problem.
There was no water for so many months and we still had to go through those years of headaches without water.
Imagine someone living a life without water for a week?
You are all very lucky that you have access to water daily but for my family and my neighbours we had to rely on rainwater if we were lucky to have any.
Please can you help my village, Leulumoega Uta. I’m pretty sure the people of Nofoalii Uta have the same problem.
We need to enjoy what the rest of the country are receiving. God bless.
