DESPERATE FOR A JOB: Eli Sopoaga, 20 year old from Fuailolo’i in Mulifanua.

Eli Sopoaga, 20, from the village of Fuailolo’o in Mulifanua needs a job.

The young lad believes securing a stable job can help him support his family.

“I am currently looking for a job to help our family’s welfare because life is not that easy anymore these days,” he said.

“At the moment, my father and my older brother are the ones who work and support our family of nine siblings.”

“So I am keen on finding a job to help them because I can see how they struggle every day.”

Mr. Sopoaga was working on his plantation when the Village Voice team met him yesterday afternoon.

He says working on their plantation is his way of supporting his family.

“I just have to come and plant some crops and also supply our family’s meal.”

Mr. Sopoaga says he is good with cooking.

“I am a good cook because I am the one who prepares food here in our family every day.”

“That is the kind of job that I am looking for because I am good with my hands and I cook for my family.”

Mr. Sopoaga adds he wants to inspire his younger siblings through his daily contribution towards their family.

“After me, I have five younger siblings still in school at the moment; I really want to get a job to help them with their school fees and their school needs.”

“I also want to inspire them to support our family when they grow up, and even though they’re unemployed they can still do something to support their family. I also want to tell them that family is always first before all else.”

For anyone willing to help Mr. Sopoaga secure a job, he can be contacted on the number 7703444.
