From a great family

Re: Nation pays tribute to legendary musician

Ueta Solomona’s sister Talalupe was my piano teacher.

My father brought Lupe to Tutuila to train our voices as she has a beautiful soprano voice, very high tone.

I can recall my time spent with Lupe drinking raw eggs and a toothpick between our front teeth singing do re mi fa so la to di hahaha.

She was a great musician, beautiful voice she impacted me with a talent of playing the keyboard read notes I could never forget her.

I don’t know if she’s still alive. I owe her my appreciation and many thank yous, I taught my second daughter how to play the keyboard she is now a keyboard player for our church in Killeen, Tx.

Again, thank you and Tribute to Ueta Matautia Solomona Family especially Talalupe Solomona for sharing the talent. It blessed my family and many others that I have taught in recent years. To God Be All The Glory!
