Bus driver now stable

The driver of a bus is happy to be still alive after the accident that happened between Faleolo international airport and Mulifanua wharf on Thursday. 

The accident that people said was a miracle left three people (including the driver) in a critical condition while a few people had suffered minor injuries when they were admitted to the Tupua Tamasese Meaola Hospital that night.

Officials at the hospital told the Observer “Mr. Tafeaga is stable but he is not yet mobile due to leg injuries; but he is conscious.”

We were not able to get any information on the others who were injured in the accident.

There were no comments about the investigation from police who were unavailable.
