One of the accused was a man arrested by the Police at the Savalalo market on 7 November 2016.

Su’a said the man was found with 17 marijuana cigarettes on him and a 38 millimeter bullet.

He is in custody awaiting Court appearance next week.

Another incident involved a woman. Marijuana was found on the 36-year-old.

“She is out on bail on the condition to sign at the police station every week,” he said.

The woman is expected to appear in Court next week.

A separate incident on the same day involved a man arrested from McDonald’s Restaurant for causing trouble.

Su’a said when police arrested him; he attempted to throw a packet of Pall Mall away.

“Inside the packet were seven marijuana cigarettes.”

The last case being investigated by Police involves a taxi driver.

Su’a said the police was alerted about the taxi driver.

“Police stopped the car and found 11 marijuana cigarettes wrapped in a foil.

“He is a 31-year-old male and is currently in custody awaiting his Court case next week.”

Su’a added it appears that the marijuana offenders have returned after a brief respite.
