The Gambling Control Authority (G.C.A.) has issued a stern warning to “bonus game operators” who are operating illegally.

The warning comes from the Chief Executive Officer of the G.C.A., Tuala Siaki Tuala II, in a notice posted on their official Facebook page.

The G.C.A. named the “Fantastic A Bonus” as one of the operators without a license.

“Therefore it is operating illegally,” the G.C.A. says.

The C.E.O. has called on members of the public to refrain from participating in these activities.

“The G.C.A. is currently carrying out investigation on this unlicensed operator and welcomes any information that will assist our office in carrying out its duties mandated under the Act.”

In May, 2018 the G.C.A. issued a notice informing members of the public regarding the amendments pursuant under the Gaming Control Act 2017; where all the gaming licenses and permits that were issued by the Ministry of Police have been ceased.

“Any gaming activity including, lotteries, raffles, bingo and bingo supplies, bonus, lucky number, sales promotion scheme, gaming by telecommunications service provides” must have a gaming license issued by the Gaming Control Authority.

According to the C.E.O. any game of chance carried out without a gaming license by their office are illegal and “will be liable to penalties and prosecution.”
