One of the three defendants charged as a result of a Police raid at Afiamalu has had all the charges against her dismissed.

As a result, Paramjit Kaur, of India, is now a free woman.

On Friday, Attorney General’s Office lawyer, Ofisa Tagaloa made the application to withdraw the charges against Kaur before Justice Mata Tuatagaloa.  The application was granted. The other two defendants Stuart Webber and Andrea Ah Chong have entered a guilty plea to several charges against them.  Alalatoa Rosella Papali’i is the lawyer for the defendants.

The matter has been adjourned until 26 February 2016.

The raid last year found methamphetamine, narcotics and money.
