HAPPY TIMES: Jermaine Stewart, Taliaoa Elvis Iese and the General Manager of Sai Motors, Vijay Jashnani celebrate as Taliaoa gets handed the keys to his new minivan.

Taliaoa Elvis Iese, from Afega, has been named the winner of Sai Motors’ raffle, taking home a brand new Noah minivan worth $14,800.

Taliaoa was one of five people selected from the thousands who entered the raffle, by texting using Bluesky numbers.

The General Manager of Sai Motors, Vijay Jashnani, said the raffle was their way of giving back to their customers during the festive season.

“Our main goal is to make our customers happy and we want to see the smiles on peoples faces,” said Mr. Jashnani.

Taliaoa did not expect to win.

“I am very happy and pleased,” he said. “I didn’t think I would win but I’m very grateful to the management and staff of Sai Motors for this wonderful gift for Christmas.”

Taliaoa said it was his children that kept texting to be eligible for the raffle. “I told them off a number of times for using up all of my credit for this promotion, because I never thought I would win it.”

The other four winners received gift vouchers from Nella’s Restaurant, Tifaimoana Indian Restaurant and Elava Hotel.

They were Anita from Vaivase, Samoa from Vaitele-fou, Sene from Nu’u and Emma from Vaitele Fou.
