Re: Let’s get those priorities right
You are so right. Only small-minded people will look to structures and roads to tell a story of a place. It is the little things that paint a truer picture of who we are. The toilets, the rubbish, the way our people behave, dress, the demeanor that is shown in our service industries.
One only needs to step in a government department to enquire and one will find out in the instant how small we are in understanding. We are so slow to learn, if we ever do. We don’t need new airports, nor international hotels, nor foreign investments that’s contaminating our growth as a people.
The only development that is required is the ‘people development.’ Why would God said to Israel in Isaiah, “come back to me and I will heal your land”?
We are so hypocritical as a people. We claim that our developments, our qualifications, our ‘God fearing leaders’ have got it right for us, and we claim that we know what we’re doing and yet we’re likened to prostitutes standing on the wayside selling our bodies to foreigners to be serviced because that’s the only means we can, to survive.
Our land is sold to foreign owners, as one of our members wrote just the other day. Our waters have been stolen from us, through under the table dealings that if it wasn’t disclosed by this paper we wouldn’t have known about it.
Our rights as a unique people are sold to foreigners in the passport scandals of the past, and is in the process to be legalised again through legislations.
How can that be right?
Some of our members claim that it’s ok because our democratically elected government was put in power by 95per cent of the people. If that’s true then who needs God?
Why do we as a people have more churches per head of population then any other race or people in this life if we don’t need God?
