“You know for the W.B.O. World Heavyweight, your preparation for championship is different from your preparations to defend your championship title and this is a huge step,” he said. “This is why we have partnered up with TV3 and other companies to broadcast this fight.”

“Taula staff and the whole company is very proud to have made the decision to extend our partnership with TV3 to ensure Joseph has the very best opportunity to win the W.B.O. World Heavyweight title, in front of his fans,” he said.

“We have a long history of providing support to the community across sport, arts, health and education."

“So Taula has a plan as a company, being an a 100% Samoan company. We have been on this journey of Joseph Parker to the world title W.B.O. Heavyweight Belt that he has now. It is his first defense and as a corporate Samoan company, we will continue supporting Joseph Parker."

“We have always been part of Joseph’s fight from his first try until now, and it would not have been right for Joseph to reach his first title shot without all our support in his corner."

“This is also our opportunity to thank the people of Samoa because their support to our company and to our products is the one that allows us to put in money for this fight."

General Manger of TV3, Verona Parker, acknowledged Taula’s support. She said they are working extremely hard to ensure the coverage reaches as many people in Samoa as possible – including remote corners of Upolu and Savai’i.
