Rugby star pleads guilty
A top Bath Rugby player has admitted assaulting a university student in a serious unprovoked attack in the city centre.
Alafoti Fa'osiliva, who is a member of the Bath Rugby first team squad, appeared in court today charged with the assault of a 21-year-old man in SouthGate in early February.
Dressed in a dark blue suit, white shirt and striped tie, the imposing Samoan spoke only to confirm his name and address and enter a guilty plea.
