The United Pentecostal Church at Sinamoga is celebrating the success of three ministers, who received their diplomas after two years of studying at the A.C.T.S II Bible Training Centre.

They are Vine Pataoga Eteuati, Moe Eteuati and Fiaii Tamalii.

President of A.C.T.S II Bible Training Centre, Rev. Chad Williams, said 10 students graduated, including seven students who received certificates, as well as the ministers.

“For those who finished two years studies, they got a two-year diploma in theological studies and then the other seven just got certificates of completion,” he said.

Rev. Williams said the diploma students will be given opportunities to become pastors and teachers within the church.

“They can now...start up churches and have the opportunity to be teachers as well,” he said. He believed the study was worthwhile.

“It really prepares them for evangelism and prepares them for preaching, teaching and becoming pastors or ministers.

“One of our three graduates is already a licensed minister with the U.P.C of Samoa and is a general secretary, Rev. Vine Pataoga Eteuati.

“The goal is that we need to have five more churches in Samoa within the next five years, and these graduates will be a part of that [goal].” Rev. Eteuati said study was tough, with the support of God helping him through.

“Two years was not easy, and there were times that [we] felt like giving up, but it was God who gave us the strength to keep going and strive for the best - that made today possible,” he said.

“I will still be working under the minister that we have at the moment and [will] wait on God to show me the way to go. I just want to thank my family and friends for their support and their help.”
