Michael O’Neil has only been in Samoa for two days and he is already in love with beautiful Samoa.

Talking to Dear Tourist yesterday, the 52-year-old said he was not here for a holiday but for work purpose.

“I have only been here for two days and I love this place already,” he said.

“I am definitely looking forward to returning but this time not for work but for a holiday with my family.”

It was not the beautiful scenery or the perfect blue sky or the relaxing beaches of the island of Samoa that left Michael astounded.

But it is the culture that got his attention.

“The wonderful traditions as I was driving out through the villages last night like seven o’clock they have their prayers. That I thought was really interesting and amazing,” he said.

He also mentioned that he was not certain what was going on but he saw all the men in the evening all spaced out on the road which was just great and it indicated that there was strength in Samoa’s culture and it was evident everywhere.

Michael is from the land of the long white cloud and he emphasized on their Maori culture which is not really at the forefront compared to how it is in Samoa where the culture is well-respected.

Michael enjoys exploring the beautiful island of Samoa and he is very much interested in the Samoan culture.

This two-day trip for him was amazing because he was able to see how friendly the Samoan people are.

“Very friendly people I have got to say. They are always smiling and always waving when they see the car pass by.”

He also added that it is an amazing place to return to.
