Re: Alcohol bill could lead to business losses

Oh, its becoming a common excuse now for Govt. Ministries to say they're short staff if ever they were asked a question and didn't have an answer for it. Why? Are they freezing hiring staff members these days now? Or are they cutting cost on the labour force?

How were they supposed to operate efficiently and competently these Govt. Ministries duties and responsibilities or provide services to the people and our nation as a whole? Same excuse from the Ministry of Finance and now with Ministry of Revenue (MOR). They're understaff or short-staff!

I'm feeling sorry for employees working for businessman Va'atuitui Apete. These families bread and butter would be cut off and they'll be added onto the long listing of unemployment, more struggle and poor people. Its so sad not knowing the reason why there's a big difference in prices in fact its the same kind of liquor or products sold by some retailers.

Unless, these other liquor manufacture or Retailers have had a massive "capital reserve" that they can played around with, and actually use it for "cut throat" business tactics. Otherwise, missing in action containers, and also the green lane containers possibly were full of raw materials for manufacturing liquors landed into some people's hand.

Who knows if those containers were cheap finished products imported into the country and for some people just to stick on their labels then sell it cheap with somebody's behind it all.

It maybe or maybe not, but this little voice is coming through. Did anybody know the contents of these missing or green lane containers? What's the story? Mystery? Or they'd simply disappeared from the face of the earth!

Please, give businessman Va'atuitui Apete a fair go and explained it clearly the core reason behind it all!

How? Where? Why?, and What?..tsk tsk tsk.... GOD BLESS SAMOA.
