The Mafutaga-o-Tinā of the Congregational Christian Church of Samoa at Lauli’i visited the Home of the Aged at Mapu-i-fagalele yesterday bearing gifts.

The gifts included food and other items.

At the presentation, more than fifty mothers were accompanied by Reverend Pita Toleafoa and his wife, Emi.

President, Lina Leniu told the Samoa Observer that “having the opportunity to help our elders here at Mapuifagalele is a blessing.”

“It was the end of last year that we had decided to do this, to lend a hand to our mothers and fathers here,” she said.

But this will not be the last time.

“Looking forward, we will offer and do whatever we can to help our elders here at Mapuifagalele.”

Sister Alosio expressed the residents’ heartfelt gratitude to the Lauli’i C.C.C.S.

“The things they have provided are the things we really need,” said Sister Alosio. “We pray that God will continue to bless them in their work everyday.”
