Fourty Police officers are in a better position to perform their roles more effectively following three separate training on Operational Safety, Defensive Driving and Road Safety.

The trainings are designed to ensure they meet the demands of policing work.

At the completion of the trainings, the Executive and members of the Police Senior Management team gathered to offer their congratulations.

“Ongoing trainings is crucial for SPS as part of its ongoing service improvement strategies. Furthermore, in response to the changing environment that Samoa and the region is experiencing.”

The Acting Commissioner Papalii Monalisa encouraged Police officers to utilize the skills they received to improve their work.

She noted that the Police has a long way to go in improving its service, emphasizing that Police force members must work together.

She reminded: “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
