Usual practice by government

Dear Editor

Re: Govt. decision slammed

I sympathize with you Tuaopepe, our government’s involvement with sports has always been disastrous. I can’t forget Kaino who was a Champion in his division in Judo, but politics got into the game and Samoa went nowhere with that sport.

Now Samoa has finally got a sport that is consistently put Samoa on the top by winning medals, and a possible medal at the Olympics, but now again they jump in to ruin that accomplishment.

I think Mahonri Schwalger started his rugby programme for the kids, and the government again started theirs as well. If there are programmes already thatand are successful, government should consider using that money to provide citizens with water.

The Samoans seems to want their names to be mentioned rather than their country’s name. And the fact that they get in the way, neither names will be mentioned because that sport will go backwards.

Usual practice from the government.

This minister needs to reconsider and break away from the government’s habitual behaviour of Fiapule.
