Manu Samoa team was defeated by Georgia during their game at Tbilisi Mikheil Meskhi Stadium.

At the end of the game Georgia 20 Manu Samoa 16.

According to the Manu Samoa Rugby News Samoa was struggling to contain Georgia’s forward power during the first half.

“George Pisi's try and the boot of Patrick Fa'apale were the only positives in a first half,” said the Manua Samoa News.

“Samoa struggled to contain Georgia's much vaunted forward power and scrum which led to their two tries.

“Georgia's forwards controlled the game from the opening whistle and Samoa with only 35% of possession and struggling at the set piece could not get enough go-forward balls.

“Georgia's defence held out a desperate late flurry by the Samoans.

“A well taken try to George Pisi created by Rey Lee Lo was the only highlight in a frustrating game.”
