‘We will be back’

From San Diego to Samoa, Joni Varga will do all over again.

Why? Not only does she love the place, she said the Samoan culture is so unique more and more people deserve to experience it.

Joni Varga was with her family when she caught up with Dear Tourist. This is her second time in Samoa.

“We love it here so much,” she said. “The Samoan culture is awesome.

“Everything they said about Samoa is actually true… the smile on peoples’ faces and their friendly approach as described on google is very accurate.

“In fact we find it everywhere we pass… the facial expression of people are just so welcoming and wonderful.”

Joni and her family arrived in Samoa on a yacht.

“As we are sailing, we thought Samoa is a logical place for us to stop,” she said.

“Now we have been here for 10 days since and we have enjoyed every minute of it.”

Since their last trip to Samoa, Joni said not much has changed.

“Everything has been a much better experience this time around,” she said.

“The last time was good but don’t get me wrong, the weather was horrible. It was not very friendly and it did not make for a very good time.

“This time we are here at the right time.”

The one thing that has not changed is the people, she said.

“Samoa is about her people and how they still remain as friendly and happy welcoming people,” she said.

“Everything impresses us in so many ways and that is one of the few reasons why we have decided to stop here again.”

Joni and her family said they absolutely loved the Teuila Festival.

“We were here for the Teuila Festival which was fabulous,” she said.

“We have gotten to learn more about the Samoan culture which I enjoyed and it made it all much more meaning.”

While they are on dry land, the family was staying at the Tanoa Tusitala Hotel.

Will they come back for a third time?

“The thing is, we love it here so much that I’ll make sure my family will visit Samoa again.”

But she plans to do more.

“I would definitely recommend Samoa to other people because everything is just amazing, the food, the warm blue ocean and the way people live is something that I will take with me forever.

“We will definitely be back.”
