The annual conference for mothers and women of the Congregational Christian Church of Samoa (C.C.C.S) ended yesterday.

The meeting, which started on Tuesday, is a prelude to the main conference, which starts Sunday.

Hundreds of women from all over the world gathered at Malua for the meeting.

Among them was Taituliu Logopule who had nothing but great things to say about the week of fellowship and planning.

“It was a great week for us,” she said.

“The meeting looked into many issues to develop the women and the church. A lot of the decisions were made but I can’t say what they are. All I can say is that these decisions are good for our families and the church.”

“For this year, we have our usual donation to some of the organisations as usual and of course our pensioners and members of our church.”

Another participant Tautua Liuva’a told the Samoa Observer the women’s meeting is all about looking ahead and finding where the church can help people.

“It’s all about coming together to see what we can do to help and grow the church of God,” she said.

“We are looking forward for more blessings in the coming years to develop the church and help our families.”

“The meeting also looked at ways where church members can help people who need water tanks and other assistance like medical needs.

The first day of the conference saw the presentation of reports from various women’s Committees of the church. Here are some photos from Malua yesterday.
