Hear them out, Mr. P.M.!

Dear Editor,

I feel for Mr. Nanai Lui Tokuma. Hearing his story on how the land was given to them, I think the Prime Minister should be ashamed of himself.

No money can buy or substitute a human being’s life.

I praise Mata’afa for a very thoughtful, wise, considerate, and most of all a very loving, caring, and truly looking after his people (at his time as a P.M.), by giving Mr. Tokuma’s family something that they can hold on to for life, and to compensate or make up for a very serious and scary mistake (of almost getting their father executed…)

I think the Prime Minister should consider the residents cry and plead not to evict them, as Sogi has always been and still is their home and land where they have lived for so many, many years.

Come on Tuilaepa ... put your feet in their shoes. How would you feel? May be these people are not rich like you?
