The first challenge of round two of the Siva Afi kick started last night and what a night it turned out to be.

The two Hotels that went head to head were Sheraton Hotel Mulifanua and Return to Paradise Resort.

In spite of the pouring rain, the warriors never lost a single step on fighting for their chance to advance onto the next round.

“I am thankful for the long deserving journey this show has given me,” says Alema.

Alema will be one of three fire dancers travelling to Hawaii early in May to represent Samoa at the World Fire Knife Challenge.

On the other hand, Jack Tai Laban left the audience in awe with his amazing performance.

“Tonight was just the beginning” says Jack. “I am optimistic that one day I will be called the Faletalimalo Siva Afi Challenge winner if I put in 100 percent of my focus” he continued.

At the end of this challenge, Alema Alema walked away with $100 cash prize and Jack Tai Laban as the winner of this challenge.

“We had an amazing audience tonight,” says Leota Lene. “We are a couple weeks away from the championships in Hawaii and I can confidently say that the boys are ready,” he continued.

All participants will receive monetary prizes in all levels of the competition.

Next week’s challenge will be between and Le Manumea Hotel and Return to Paradise Beach Villas.

The competitors will be Walter Leota vs Lene Alema. For further information — please contact our office on 26128 or visit our FB
