After a week of torrential downpour, the sun finally decided to shine last Saturday as Osana Liki, 27, and Conrad Ward, 28, said “I do” at the E.F.K.S church at Vaivase Uta.

This was followed by a lavish reception at Manumailagi Gardens at Siusega, attended by close family and friends of the couple.

The wedding comes after a five-year whirlwind romance and courtship.

Upon being asked how they met, the new Mrs. Ward laughs and says, “Maybe we can skip that part.”

Osana, from Vaivase Uta, is the daughter of Mulipola and Julie Kitiona.   She graduated from Victoria University in Wellington, NZ, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and International Relations.

She is currently working for the Samoan government in the Public Service Commission as a Principal Policy Analyst.

Conrad, from Moata’a, is the son of Ella Ward, and the late John Ward.

He completed his Cisco certification at the National University of Samoa, and is currently a Manager and computer engineer at Comptech Ltd.

“We just want to thank our family and friends for helping us make this day possible,” says Osana.  “We are grateful to them for being a part of our special day and celebrating with us,” added Conrad.
