Take a break, visit The Vineyard

The Vineyard Christian Bookstore and Café is a quaint corner shop in the heart of Apia.

Located on the ground floor of the Chandra House next to the Lotemau Centre, this humble café offers a variety of tasty treats and light lunches as well as a selection of good reads. Puamanu Siaosi and his wife, Tasha, first established their café and bookstore in April of 2015.

The bookstore was their original idea as they wanted to offer the public a greater selection of Christian books, art and accessories as part of their contribution as devoted, born again believers.

It was then that they decided to set up a mini café where they sell pre-made and homemade goods as well as a nice cuppa for their visitors.

The Siaosi’s support many local businesses by giving others a platform to sell their delicacies within their café.

Together with Hungerfuel, Olive Tree Kitchen and a local couple Va’a and Loretta Teueli, The Vineyard’s menu ranges from gourmet meat pies, a sweet variety of locally made cheesecakes, and home made cupcakes.

Owner, Tasha Siaosi also pre-makes cheesecakes, cookies, sandwiches, carrot cakes, and brownies as well as her infamous “icebox” treats, which are a mixture of cream cheese and lemon that is a perfect blend for that tart-like taste.

You can also enjoy a freshly brewed coffee from imported Italian Segfredo beans or cool down with their popular tropical or mixed berries smoothies.

The Vineyard also provides instruments to encourage guests to have a “jam sesh” or open mic with one another.

Former Miss Samoa Latafale Auva’a would practice her songs here in this quiet little café while enjoying a warm cuppa- her favorite being their mochaccino.

The Vineyard is also open to receiving pre-loved Christian books.

Some they resell, others are open for the public to enjoy while relaxing at their air-conditioned café, away from the heat and busy streets of town.

The Vineyard Christian Bookstore Café is open Monday to Saturday from 8 AM- 8 PM. Contact PH: 760-8875 Facebook: The Vineyard Christian Bookstore Café E-Mail:[email protected]
