The Samoa Victim Support Group (S.V.S.G.) Juniors are gearing up for a pre-Christmas Hope concert.

President, Carmenita Solaese, announced the plan last Friday.

“The concert will be held on the 6th of December at the hall of Saint Joseph’s College, Alafua.

“The event will start off with a fashion show which various designers will be showcasing and performances will be provided by various local and overseas artists like, Martin Mose, Taupou Manaia, Jojo Otto Lafaele, James Vito, Sons of Papase’ea, John Sinei, Tupe Crawley and other artists.

“Because we want to promote a family theme there will be no alcohol sold at the venue.”

Carmenita said all proceeds from the concert would fund their community projects. They are hoping to raise $10,000.

Vice President of S.V.S.G. Juniors, Franziska Sione, added: “For us being the youths we want to make a difference and hopefully others can follow that passion and determination.

“We want to target families that have no access to water or clean water.

“And if we are also able to provide some kind of assistance in any way whether it be food or water for those in need that is the main goal and purpose of our organization.”

Tickets are selling at $20 for adults and $15 for children. They can be bought

From S.V.S.G’s office next to the Apia Police station.
