The Anchor Creative Art Competition was designed by Fonterra Brands, makers of Anchor Milk and the Ah Liki Wholesale team as an activity for the Primary School across Upolu and Savaii to actively engage the children’s imagination through expression of art.
The competition was endorsed by the Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture (M.E.S.C.) as they see this as a way to help with the development of a child’s cognitive thinking and the ability to express oneself openly to create something from the use of their imagination, original ideas or personal experiences.
General Manager of Ah Liki Wholesale, Asiata Alex Brunt, said this is the second community event put together by Anchor Milk and Ah Liki Wholesale, solely focusing on our youth.
“We place value in our children’s creativity whether through their writing or through creative art. We aim to nurture their emotional health and to place value on their ideas thus raising their self-esteem for we believe that “Goodness Feeds Greatness.”
Goodness Feeds Greatness is a global slogan for the Anchor brand.
“The goodness of Anchor Milk helps fuel your natural potential, to help reach your greatness. Milk is good source of protein and calcium, to help build strong bones, teeth and muscles. A daily glass of the goodness of Anchor Milk will help with the growth and development of our children, thereby helping them reach their natural potential, their greatness.”
