Not the Samoa I know

Dear Editor,

There is too much corruption in Samoa for a small Island nation.

It’s a shame that this is like the norm now in Samoa. A small Island nation that has more churchgoers than any place I know of and yet this kind of behavior is rampant there.

What’s going on people? Are you so hard up with money that you have to steal? Every member of my family that visited Samoa were violated by these people by stealing their money. They have the gall to go in the house while they’re sleeping and stealing money from them.

I remember visiting there one time when someone approached me calling me by name and asking me how long I’ve been there and yet I don’t know him from Adam.

He later ask me for money and I told him to go find him a job. He was a young able bodied man who is vibrant and youthful what a disgrace.

This wasn’t the Samoa I used to know when I grew up there.
