Siatua Ageli has a simple solution to manage his family.

He believes when the parents and the children work together, whatever the difficulties they face, nothing can be too hard to solve.

The 26-year-old lives with his three brothers and parents at Luatuanu’u.

Mr.Ageli was brought up in a peaceful family and he is grateful for that.

“I love my family and I’m very blessed to be part of it,” he said

“We don’t live a life where we are desperate to have what we don’t have.

“We appreciate living life with whatever my parents give us and we make do with whatever we earn.

“We were happy and we still are.

Siatua says life has always been hard but they still try their best.

“Everyday life is getting tough and we struggle to make ends meet.

“It was very difficult to live back then, because we were too small to help my parents.

“The plantation was the only way of income but we got by each day.

“I guess that was the life everyone else went through back in the days and there’s no point of denying it.

“But I do believe that we won’t get anywhere in life if we do not work hard for it.”

Siatua is thankful for the struggles because it taught him to work hard.

“I thank God he managed to bless us with jobs to help our family.

“My parents are now just sitting at home and reaping what they sowed.

“I work at Pacific Forum Line (P.F.L) Matautu and my job pays well while my other three brothers are all working.”

The family is growing too.

“When everyone plays their role in the family, things will turn out to be easy.

“We all work hard and my parents support us and we are happy.

“When we rest from work we work around the house and do the chores at home. And it’s exactly what I’m doing today.

“You know, working together makes everything easier because we know we are doing everything for our family.”
