Don’t be fooled

Re: Don’t be easily fooled, P.M. says

“About claims that customary lands are under threat, Tuilaepa said it was foolish to compare Samoa to New Zealand and Australia.”

“In New Zealand, the land belongs to Maoris yet they are not running their government. It’s the same in Australia where the Aborigines are not in charge of their government.”

“Samoa is different. Samoans are in charge of our country, our chiefs are leading the way, we understand our ways and values.”

The switching of powers in NZ, Australia, and even in Hawai’i didn’t just happened overnight, but they are no longer in control of their own land, they’ve lost their heritage.

It will come to Samoa if the illegal Constitutional Amendments allow to stand.

Be wise the matai of Samoa and be mindful of your calling.

God’s glory was parted and bestowed upon you to maintain peace among our people and protect our heritage and our land.

Don’t be fooled by the sound good manipulated words but be mindful and faithful to your calling.
