An Australian crew, made up of mostly Samoans, has brought a production show they hope will inspire and empower young people to rise above the struggles they face every day.

The show, “My Story 61”, is a free community outreach show scheduled to be held at Aleisa Worship Centre field at 7pm this Saturday.

According to a press statement issued by Pastor Cruise Westerlund, the show will tackle unpopular topics that are often swept under the carpet.

“My Story 61 will address real life issues through their show and integrate inspiring testimonies of certain individuals who have had their lives radically impacted; they are here to show you of how you can have your life turned around for the good,” the statement said.

“If you’re living in question about your identity because of a bad break, you need to come and watch so that you can be empowered to rise above the circumstance, to inspire you to live your life successfully.

“If you’ve been confused, broken, hurt, lost or even suicidal, the production has a raw way of expressing stories that will help you break chains of depression that will free you up to live your life victoriously.”

Pastor Westerlund encourages members of the public to bring a friend or family to see “My Story 61.”

“It will illuminate light on various situations in hopes to empower you to bring positive change to your life and over the lives of others.”

Local hosts, Worship Centre Aleisa and Supernatural Fellowship, say they want to provide a platform for an empowerment production to be accessible to all our local people from any denomination and from any ethnic group.

“Come and watch, your life will never be the same.”
