Every good seed planted faithfully will not fail to come through for you.

That’s the belief of Malaefono Fea, a father of eight children from Falelauniu.

He and his wife are unemployed.

But they are grateful for their children whom they say take good care of them with everything they need.

The 63-year-old is certain that if you are honest with raising your children, they will never depart from you.

“I don’t live together with my children but whatever we need, they send us money,” he said.

“Whether it has to do with buying our food or anything that is needed within church, my children never fail me, they always come through.

“I live a free and happy life despite the cost of living. I don’t have to worry because my children will always provide for me and my wife.”

Mr. Fea said his children sell and make Samoan kava which is how they earn a living.

He still has one more child in school.

“I have a daughter that is 15 years old and she attends Anoamaa College. Her older siblings look after her. My wife and I have moved here to Falelauniu and for five years she has also been living with my older children,” he added.

He stated that everyone always helps him with everything he needs and he sees this as a blessing in his life.

“Every now and then we have people coming over to our house and every time they come they always give us money and food for no reason which amazes me at times because I never expect it.”

Mr. Fea is convinced that life has become costly but it doesn’t stop blessings coming your way if you are faithful with whatever that you do and even the tiniest job that is done has a reward.
