Beverly and Amataga tie the knot

After two years of courting each other Beverly and Amataga have decided to make that special commitment of marriage..

Families and friends gathered as the newlyweds said their ‘I do’s' at the Samoa Temple LDS at Pesega on Friday morning.

According to a family member, Samu Feilo,  the bride is the daughter of Johnny Sione and Line Young Yen while the groom is the son of Lesoa Aio’o and Vaimoana Fatu.

“The groom is a Bank Officer in New Zealand at the ANZ Bank while the bride is a doctor,” he said.

“Beverly is from the village of Fagamalo and while the groom is based in New Zealand, he hails from the villages of Faleasi’u and Falelauniu.

“They first met at the L.D.S. Chapel during a service two years ago and it was love at first sight.

“But, they wanted to get to know each other more and today they have decided that it is time for them to take their relationship to the next step.

“Their love for each other is so strong and they feel that they are ready to conquer anything life throws at them.”

Beverly Enisitina Young Yen is 24 years of age while Amataga Sefuluai Fatu is 29.

The reception was held at Manumailagi at Siusega.
