Manu rings changes for Georgia

Coach, Namulauulu Alama Ieremia, has rung a number of changes to his forward pack for the Manu Samoa team to play Georgia in Tiblisi tomorrow.

Four changes have been made to the forward pack from the team that was hammered, 52-8, by France last week.

Logovi’i Mulipola and Anthony Perenise have been given the nod to start at prop, Sakaria Taulafo and Census Johnston both excluded completely.

Jeff Lepa has earned a starting spot at lock with Chris Vui ruled out due to an injury.

Greg Foe has also earned a starting spot at openside flanker with the back three rejigged. Alafoti Faosiliva is starting at number eight while Jack Lam moves to the blindside.

The backline remains largely unchanged except for Albert Nikoro starting at fullback due to Paul Williams being injured.

“Georgia is a quality team as we saw in June when they went undefeated in the Pacific,” Namulauulu said.

“Although we are under no illusions it will be a tough like it was in June, we are excited to try and put out a much better performance this week.”
