Samoa Stationery and Books held a one day HP Easter Promotion Early Bird Specials on Wednesday at all their branches including Savai’i.

According to S.S.A.B’s Marketing Manager, Dora Tuiletufuga-Malele, the event was to acknowledge the support of their customers leading up to Easter next week.

“The main purpose for this promotion is to give the opportunities to HP customers to buy products at a special price,” she said. “It was designed to help people get affordable laptops while the Back to School Season is on, especially for the university students who need laptops and printers to do their work from home during their assignments and everything.

“The focus is to give the customers really low prizes and the best thing about the HP promotion is that people keep demanding for this event to take place because they want to take advantage of the specials.”

The idea, she said, is to allow customers to save money.

“In today’s early bird HP promotion, we were able to sell nine laptops for the early bird prize of $499 so that was three first customers at the megastore and the first two customers at the Lotemau Centre, Savai’i and Vaivase,” she said.

“We were able to sell 14 HP Printers for $49.90 this morning early bird special and the normal prize for this printer is $130tala.”

Asked about the feedback from the customers, Mrs. Malele said they were very happy.

“For every promotion our customers are always happy because they know the benefit is on them,” she said.

“They were able to come in and take advantage of the specials that we are offering for them and they are always happy that we have promotions.

“Our first two customers came on Tuesday afternoon and waited here the whole night just so they can get the laptop and that is usually the case when we have our early bird specials because people want to take advantage of these specials.”
