Another crash at infamous stretch

Despite a sign that reads “Slow down, High Crash Area,” it seems that some drivers still don't get the message at a certain Vaitele intersection.

Yesterday, a two-door Sedan and a Mazda Premacy van were the latest vehicles to have crashed there.

The vehicle in the wrong was apparently driven by a Chinese, according to eyewitnesses.

“He should have given way,” a bystander said. “He (driver of the mazda) was coming from the west while the sedan was coming from the north so the Chinese man should’ve given way but he didn’t stop.”

The two door sedan belongs to a former Member of Parliament, but he was not the driver.

No one was injured but the Police were called and are investigating.
