Are our interests being upheld?

Dear Editor

Re: In response to Siaosi Siomia

There only needs to be the appearance that these things you bring up are happening to disqualify this person.

The appearance is there, therefore he is not qualified to hold this position.

The people of Samoa can never be sure that their interests are being upheld because this is another case of nepotism at the highest level no matter what Sita Leota would like us to believe.

It’s one thing for the Auditor General to be a cousin to a member of Parliament because of the fact that in a small country most people are related in some way, it’s quite another for the person that reveals or doesn’t reveal money issues of the country to be related to the P.M. as his son in law.

This relationship in and of itself is an unequal family relationship.

Father in laws rule sons in law, same as mother in laws rule daughters in laws.

Case closed.
