A year ago today, a new era in the modern history of aviation in Samoa started. It began when Samoa Airways new aircraft, flown all the way from Europe, touched down at Faleolo International Airport to a thunderous applause from guests invited to witness the event.

Dear Editor, Re: Unprofessional nurses irritate P.M. It depends… some nurses do know more than the doctors especially when you hire “cheap” doctors. My wife is a nurse and there are plenty of times she would correct the doctors.
Re: Give the nurses a break Most Samoans who have been to the hospital in their lives have a story about an angry nurse. You know it is true, Mata’afa. There would have been many Samoans around the country and the world nodding their heads when the P.M. said his piece.
