Lucymaria Titiuatoa Sio and Marcus Fiso Ofoia Sr exchanged vows before families and friends at the Catholic Parish in Vaimoso during the weekend.

The new couple is the proud parents of two months old Marcus Fiso Jr.

The bride, who is a Senior Prosecutor at the Attorney General’s Office, is the daughter of the late Lopao’o Lamositele Sio and Samoauatasi.

She is from Solosolo and Vaimoso while Marcus hails from Tulaele and Salani.

“I am over the moon, knowing that just a few days ago I made a commitment to love my Marcus until death do us apart and  I look forward to growing old with him by my side,” said Lucymaria.

“We have taken another step in life and while it’s been three years since we have known each other, I knew all along that Marcus was the one.

“The connection was there and love tied everything together and the rest was history. We have a two-month-old and more babies in the future,” she said smiling.

According to Lucymaria, the foundation of their marriage is God and the strong bond of love for each other.

“We tend to lean on 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 when times are tough as love will always win in the end.”

The Maid of Honor was Latoya Lee-Lesa, who is a cousin of the bride, and the Best Man was Norris Ah Far.

The bridesmaids were Afulilo Tuitama, Telefina Sio, Taielua Taito, and Margaret Ofoia and Groomsmen were Joseph Faaolotoi, Seteuati Mau, Gary Lelevaga and Quentin Sauaga.

The reception was held at the N.U.S.
