Car accident claims life of 59 –year-old father

A 43-year-old man has been charged with negligent driving causing death.
The charge follows an accident on 30 June 2016.
The driver was carrying a 59-year-old passenger who was seriously injured and required urgent medical treatment.
Police Spokesperson, Maotaoali’i Kaioneta Kitiona, said the man passed away on 4 July 2016. The accused is scheduled to appear in the District Court on 26 July 2016.
