The Police is continuing to ask members of the public for help to find one of Samoa’s most wanted men today.

Pati Sonny Chong Nee, 24, is a suspect in an alleged crime spree where he broke into several houses at Ululoloa on Tuesday night.

The Sunday Samoan understands that one of the houses he burgled was the Newton family’s house. It is not the first time the Newtons have been affected by criminals.

“The other house he broke into, he took some guns and fine mats,” the Police told the Sunday Samoan.

“As you know Mr. Chong Nee was in prison before for burglary and theft, so this is his criminal history."

“He also escaped several times while in prison. It hasn’t been a year since he came out and now he has reoffended."

“We also suspect he might have had help while he burgled these houses."

“So we urge members of the public to not approach him when you see him.”

Chong Nee is from the villages of Vaitele Uta, Falelauniu, Aleisa and Tanumapua.

According to a Police statement, Mr. Chong Nee is a suspect in a Police burglary investigation.

“The public is advised to please contact a Police station near you or call phone number 22222 immediately if you have any information that may lead to his whereabouts,” said the statement.

“It is a crime if you assist this person, harbor him or withhold valuable information from the Police concerning this individual.”
