Another prisoner has escaped from Tafa'igata Prison.

Lagalaga Misiluki, 38, from Fagali’i-tai and Salamumu is serving time for burglary, theft and possession of narcotics.

This was confirmed by Police Superintendent and Media Spokesperson, Auapaa’u Logoitino Filipo.

Auapa’au declined to further comment noting that the Police are after the prisoner.

This is the not the first time Lagalaga has escaped from prison.

A press statement from the Police advises the public that Lagalaga is considered dangerous and should not be approached.

So far, Uili Manuleleua remains on the run and Auapa’au is seeking the public’s assistance on locating both prisoners.

Uili is serving time for several burglary cases.

Just before Christmas last year, Uili, Lauititi Tualima, Vaioa Solia and Aniseko Vaelei escaped from prison.

The same day, Lauititi and Solia were caught.

Two weeks ago, Aniseko was recaptured with the help of a Vaiusu family who restrained him and contacted the Police.

If anyone has any information regarding the prisoners’ whereabouts, please contact police on 22 222 or 911 or report it to any police station near you.

S.P.S. extends its gratitude to the public for their ongoing support.
