UNDER PROMISING AND OVER DELIVERING

It was encouraging and a reason for a small amount of pride when visitors to our island during the time of Cyclone Amos were full of praise for one of our state owned enterprises and two businesses.

Friendly, helpful service from the staff of Samoa Shipping Corporation was quoted as well as their accommodating acceptance that changes needed to be made in bookings because of the possible arrival of the cyclone.

It was the same when dealing with the AA Rental car company who imposed no financial penalty for a cancelled vehicle thus getting a booking later in the month when the weather settled.

Local laundromat Kentos’ owners and staff also received high praise for being open throughout the pre and post Amos period. Not only did they charge fair rates but a text informed you when to pick up the freshly laiundered items which were neatly packaged.
