A memorable Valentine’s day for the Vaiaso family

Usually when someone mentions Valentine’s Day, most people automatically think of a day for couples and people in relationships.

But Valentine’s Day means more than that: it is a day to celebrate the friends, family, and loved ones in your life.

It is a day to say “thank you” to everyone you love and appreciate. Everyone can partake in Valentine’s Day because everyone has someone they love.

And with this belief, Reverend Napoleone Vaiaso and Sita Vaiaso of the Congregational Christian Church of Samoa at Manono-Uta, organized a family dinner on the 14 of February for his children to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Held at the Treasure Garden Reverend Vaiaso’s five children and their partners and their children joined the celebration.

It was definitely a night to remember for the Vaiaso Family.

Filipi Keresoma said the dinner was unexpected.

“It was the first time we’ve had something like that on Valentine’s Day,” he said.

“It was unexpected; we just got a call from the old man saying that we had to join them for dinner.”

Mr. Keresoma said the dinner was also a farewell dinner for their brother Vincent Vaiaso’s girlfriend who is going back to New Zealand for school.
